How To Lock In Company Card: VDO Tachographs

Lock In Company Card

  1. Insert the Company Card into the tachograph.
  2. If the Company Card hasn't already been locked in, the tachograph will ask if you want to lock the Company Card in. All you have to do is confirm (using 'enter') to lock the Company Card in.

Lock Out Company Card

  1. Put the Company Card in the tachograph.
  2. If already locked in, the tachograph will ask you if you would like to lock the Company Card out. Confirm with enter, and the Company Card will be locked out.

  1. Put the company card in the tachograph and press enter.
  2. Go down to "Company Card Lock" and press enter.
  3. Go to "Lock In" and press enter.

What Happens If The Wrong Company Card Is Locked In?

By not having the right Company Card locked in, you are not collecting important tachograph data, which can result in fines. The longer it is left, the bigger the fines.
